The president of the association, All Pakistan Private Schools’​ Federation, Kashif Mirza, made this announcement. He cited the need to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Furthermore, in response to the developing situation in Pakistan, the British Council cancelled all General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams scheduled for May 10.

Additionally, the council, which oversees the GCSE exams, announced the cancellation of exams for the morning and afternoon sessions due to the current emergency in the country.
